Matthew was excellent to work with. It's clear he takes great pride in his craft and it shows through his dedication to capturing the perfect shot. He is meticulous and creative with his editing, whilst not over editing. Matthew is professional and relaxed whilst also being flexible and accommodating to the requests I asked of him, albiet there were a few. The turn around time from shoot to receiving the end product was around 48 hours, which I was very pleased with. I wanted a boudoir album for my fiancé as a wedding gift. I ended up doing a ton of research trying to find the perfect photographer. I ended up deciding on Matthew because he's photos looked amazing and he quickly answered all my many questions before I decided booked my photo shoot. Before I booked my shoot he invited me to the studio for a quick chat about the style of photos I want and to chat with his makeup artist about the hair and makeup ideas. When it came to the day of my photoshoot I was super comfortable from the very start. We started the shoot with very modest casual outfit and by the end I so comfy working with Matt I was only wearing a white sheet haha. When I received my album I was stunned how amazing my photos turned out. I haven't given the album to my fiancé yet but I know his jaw will hit the ground when he sees them!!
Matthew is more than one could possibly hope for when looking for a boudoir photographer!! I never have considered myself being sexy. I was the always the girl making dumb goofy faces in every photo that was taken of me. It was my way hiding myself in photos. I never considered doing a boudoir shoot. So when my best friend asked if I want to join her on her bridal boudoir shoot I was obviously extremely nervous. And when my friend said it was male photographer even more nervous. My friend said she picked Matthew because she wanted her photos from a mans point of view. Hearing her say that didn't make me feel any better ha. After meeting Matthew my fears went away. He was so helpful showing us how to pose, to picking out the perfect outfit for that pose. I was laughing so hard when he would show me the different poses, tho once he showed me the photos on the back of his camera I couldn't believe it was me. I looked sexy for the first time in my life. At the end of our shoot both my friend and me were over the moon. I can't thank Matthew enough. I never considered or even saw the value in doing a photoshoot. But after my boudoir shoot with Matthew I'm a new woman. I now smile with confidence in photos! No more goofy faces!

I have recently worked with Life Portraits and had the most amazing experience. This was for a team day and confidence photoshoot with my clients. Mel and Dave were amazing, I was extremely nervous going in to the session having never done anything like this before. I don’t normally like having my picture taken, let alone my body. I honestly had nothing to be worried about. From the moment I stepped in to the studio for hair and makeup, they made me feel at ease and really comfortable. My plan was to do the session in secret and surprise my husband with the images for Xmas, well that didn’t happen. I was beaming after the shoot and it was impossible not to tell him. Viewing the images did not go how I had imagined and planned. Thinking I would just go with the basic pack, as there probably won’t be that many images I truly like. WOW I actually had a hard time picking the ones I didn’t like or want. I have gone from someone who hated any picture of myself, to happily sharing my images and experience with friends and family. This was the best photographic experience I have ever had. We had a wonderful afternoon on the Brisbane riverside walk at West End with Britt taking photos of our family including very young grandchildren and an unruly dog! Britt was very relaxed and kept everyone happy and involved. It was a lot of fun and the photos are simply gorgeous and so natural. First time trying vod studio! Heard about them from instagram. My experience was really good! I came here alone with the self portrait package, I wanted to at least take a pic of myself at least once a year in a studio. She's very welcoming, supportive and cheery. She was also very helpful, overall service is really really good 10/10!! I like how my photos turned out despite of running out of ideas on what to pose hahaha. Will def come back next time.
