I did a bridal boudoir session with Kate and it was such an amazing experience. For the moment I first enquired Kate was friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable. Somewhat unexpectedly, the most relaxing thing about having a 6-day-old baby, was by far the morning we spent with Poppy, having a great catchup, hanging out and swapping stories about the madness of parenting, while she worked her photographic magic with us and our little guy. The results are absolutely amazing, but I think the way she worked with us and our baby was even more mesmerising. Far from the usual 'studio photography' clichés of awkward posing, stressful outfit choices, and generally being treated as mute mannequins in the process, we felt involved and included at every stage. Poppy guided us and our son through the process so lightly and easily, like every step was so natural that it barely registered that we were on the receiving end of a professional lens. Chelsea photographed my daughter’s second birthday party and it was a blast to have her. She was punctual, professional and most importantly very easy going and made everyone very comfortable with her work. She worked wonderfully with the children (2 and under) who posed some significant challenges at times. She also turned around the photos in about 24 hrs and all of the photos came out amazing!
