I had an absolutely fabulous experience getting some Christmas themed photos done with the lovely Michelle! The ease of booking was stress free, the tips given in the booking email were super helpful and pointed out some thing I wouldn’t have thought of! Going to the studio felt safe given the protocols in place and measures taken to ensure everything is clean and spaced out. I absolutely love the luxurious photo shoot set up with the beautiful blankets, Christmas tree, ornaments and lights! Michelle is professional in her compliments, direction and encouragement - if I didn’t already know her I would want to know her more! The option to do my own poses, but also have the genius experience of Michelle’s input, was great and helped to capture some wonderful shots! The turn around time from when I got my pictures taken to getting the proofs to choose from was quick, and the viewing gallery is easy to use. I am so pleased with my photo shoot and photos and love love love how the whole experience went and how I feel looking at my photos. As someone who’s body has changed in ways I’m not completely happy with - these photos are a reminder of how fierce I can be

Katie is not only an incredible photographer, but one of my absolute favourite people! She makes you feel like you've known her forever the first time you meet! Both my husband and I are pretty camera shy and awkward, and Katie captured so much of our personality and love in both our engagement and our wedding photos! Katie also worked with us through lots of changes and accommodated us by worked on a day she normally takes off for our engagement shoot because my husband and I only had Sunday's off together. She also offered so much advice and help when it came to the day of the wedding - what shots, lists of things she recommends for detail shots, portraits and family photos. Katie is such an absolute sweetheart, and I'd recommend her to any of my friends or family for any of their weddings!
My fiancé and I learned and heard about Katie's work from friends and other vendors that had worked with her. What really drew us in is that she is based in Hamilton and makes it look like a completely different place on earth, almost like magic. We also really loved her mood/tone to her pictures. The couples and people in her pictures, do not look staged and they look very raw, natural and candid. We knew that for our big day, we wanted someone that would be able to capture us candidly, since we can get very awkward when pictures feel staged. Katie's work is very edgy, romantic and movie-like. We followed her work prior to her engagement and once we got engaged, we knew immediately we wanted to work with her. We actually booked her in the middle of a pandemic and she remains so flexible and understanding amongst the uncertainty of wedding planning at this time. We have not yet been able to have her photograph our wedding, but we were so so happy with her work during our engagement shoot. It was the most fun we ever had! My fiancé usually hate pictures and he loved every step of the way, because she makes it about YOU. She brought out a side of him behind the camera that I have never seen in 10 years of dating! She really helps tell your story in the way YOU want it and is able to capture that. We love you, Katie! We cannot wait for our 2021 wedding!
