Before my first shoot with Jen I hadn't done anything so intimate or of similar style previously so I felt some apprehension and fear of the unknown. I didn't have expectations beforehand, but wow, my experience was out of this world. My goals and mindset were to push myself out of my boundaries, continue my journey of becoming confident in my body and overall acceptance. Jen and Kelly are both extremely personable and kind people. I immediately felt comfortable and surprisingly, to me, didn't feel strange being as unclothed as I was. Such an enlightening and empowering shoot and I am overjoyed that I got to work with these wonderful ladies! Jen has a way that she shoots where you don't feel awkward about how to pose or feeling silly, truly a lovely time. Thank you Jen!! :)

Shooting with Jennifer was a dream! She and Kelly, the lovely makeup artist, make you feel so comfortable from the second you walk in! Even the way they were emailing beforehand, being so kind, supportive, and informative gets you feeling excited for the shoot ahead. Jennifer tells you exactly what you need to do, gives you advice on where to shop, what to wear, and then on the day gives you professional direction to make you look as beautiful and not awkward as possible haha! Jennifer and Kelly ROCK! Next to skydiving the Boudoir Shoot has been the most daring thing I have ever done. I'm 61 years old, so yes, it was daring;) My husband of 5 years turns 60 this year. I want to give him a unique and special gift. In the past he's asked me if I'd ever do a Boudoir Shoot. (He's so sweet, remember I'm 61). I answered him "no, I don't think so, it's not me". Honestly, between you and me, no longer sporting a 20, 30 or even 40 something body, I didn't feel confident. BUT, trying to come up with a unique gift idea was proving challenging so remembering his question I thought, "what the hell", and worked up the courage to do a little internet research. I visited a few Boudoir photography sites. After reading through Jennifer Williams site and seeing her amazing work I decided to do it. I was encouraged when I read that she could "smooth" me out :) Communication leading up to the shoot was both professional and friendly. Jenn was always prompt answering my many questions (can you say 'nervous'?). The day of the shoot came. I'd long since chosen outfits, things I liked, some of my husband's favourites, bought something new and even threw in cost-play. I learned that it doesn't matter what you decide to wear, a lot, a little, or nothing at all, Jennifer WILL make you fabulous and sexy. Kelly is a hair and make-up wizard. (She's also very good at helping squelch nervous jitters:) She did an amazing job on me. So glad I didn't attempt this myself. Thanks again Kelly! When the shoot was over I felt like I had two new best friends, that's how comfortable they made me feel. Now, should you have expectations? Absolutely! Expect that Jennifer is going to capture the most beautiful and sensual you you've ever seen. She's THAT GOOD. I just showed up all 61 years of me and let Jenn and Kelly work their magic....and they did! I remember being excited, yes, but also apprehensive about the finished product, what a waste of mental energy, I loved it! I can't wait to give the album to my husband. It's crazy how Jennifer was able to capture a beauty and sensuality I didn't know I had anymore. THANK-YOU Jennifer, and Kelly you two are nothing short of amazing!

Pamela is as much about technique as she is about discovery and creativity. She perfected the boudoir photography process starting with the initial call to wardrobe prep to how she runs the session and finally how she hosts photo viewing. All the while being precise in her communication, attentive, supporting and fiercely talented. I learned a lot through working with her. She said the question that guides her work decisions is: “does this add value and make someone else’s life better?” And it absolutely shows. I just got my photos and they are truly a work of art.

Pamela was able to build on your strengths, soften any hesitations or doubts, and add gasoline to the spark. I loved working with her bold, but sweet personality! What a confidence boost alongside a BYO fun playlist! - Make up and hair was kept simple as requested - Various styles of wardrobe options to choose from - Sets were modern, traditional decor, and especially loved the colour scheme with accents of plants Thanks Pamela!

Pamela is an incredible photographer and human being. This was a completely new experience for me and I was a little nervous and self-conscious. On top of being incredibly body positive, Pamela is also very reassuring and extremely clear with her direction. I did not have to think about how to pose at all - Pamela told me exactly what to do from start to finish - and this made me feel like I was in good hands. She also takes her time to explain things rather than making you feel rushed or like you're on a schedule. My pictures turned out exactly as I wanted!

Amber and Vickie were AMAZING! They are so organized, and had a very thorough plan and preparation meeting with me before hand to ensure everything went smoothly. I loved that they both had such fun energy during the session, and were so enthusiastic. I really appreciated the fact that we were able to review the photos immediately after the shoot instead of setting aside a second or even third appointment to go over them another time. The photos turned out beautifully!

Don’t think twice about coming here! I was hesitant due to physical insecurities and being my first time, but I was blown away with the results and the experience I had. Vickie and Amber were so easy to work with and I felt 100% comfortable for the full session. From the talented makeup, hair, photography skills ( she’s definitely committed to making you look good if she works in fire). I will definitely do this again, and am even more motivated since the shoot. Thanks again girls, hope to see you soon!

My experience with Black Moon Boudoir was amazing from start to finish, I cannot say enough good things about Amber and Vickie. Leading up to my session, there were many check ins and all the tips and tricks provided were super helpful with preparation. The wardrobe consultation with Vickie ahead of my shoot made me feel confident and comfortable with my wardrobe choices and styling. On the day of my shoot, Vickie did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. I loved my look as it still felt like me but more glam. Vickie made me feel very comfortable and ready for the experience. Amber was a fantastic photographer, she easily explained different poses and made me feel confident and sexy. When I saw my photos, I was in absolute awe as they were incredible. I have never felt more feminine and sexy. I have struggled to love my body and doing a boudoir shoot was a way for me to embrace my body. This shoot made me feel empowered and appreciate my body in a way I haven’t before. I will never forget my experience and I am so thankful to Amber and Vickie for making me feel this way. I don’t know if a Google review is justice enough to the person Tina is and her talents. She was so relaxing to work with and made everything feel like a breeze. She made it easy from the moment I booked until the moment I left the studio. It was my first boudoir shoot ever and I went into it feeling very nervous. After all was said and done, I left feeling more anxious about having to pick a limited amount of photos instead. That’s how good she is! Tina is such an amazingly talented photographer, but it takes more than talent to be specialized in boudoir. You have to be able to make your clients feel comfortable and at ease in a situation where one would likely feel their most vulnerable. You also have to have an eye for design, making sure the lines of the body hit those angles and that lighting perfectly. You have to be an artist. Tina encompasses all of that and more, and it shows in her craft and care she provides in her studio. When shooting, Tina expertly guides you through poses, invites you to peruse her closet of beautiful outfits to wear, and puts on music to set the mood. I had a great experience with Tina and will definitely be booking another shoot in the future.

I had the best experience shooting with Tina! She creates such a warm and inviting space and takes care of every detail. I really appreciated her human approach and it's obvious how much she cares about her clients having a great time, feeling their best and making the experience effortless (you just need to show up!). She took the time to put my mind at ease leading up to the shoot and calm my nerves and communicate how the day was going to go. She also provided feedback on outfits and took into consideration any insecurities to truly ensure you had the best day. I couldn't recommend Tina more. I'll definitely be booking in with her again!

So impressed by the results! Was debating which boudoir studio to go to for my very first shoot and I’m so happy I went with Delilah because she is truly an artist! Her direction made me feel at ease and the photos made my draw drop. Thank you for the experience!

Earlier this year I had a shoot with Delilah on my birthday. My reasons for deciding to do a shoot are a bit more unique than others: my therapist suggested it. She didn’t specifically recommend a boudoir shoot but to find something where I can find a way to connect with my own body. Due to various reasons this is a very big problem that impacts my everyday life, especially in any kind of intimate setting. I was incredibly nervous for my shoot for many reasons and pretty positive that my photos would look as awkward as I feel every day. I remember thinking to myself a few times while posing “there’s no way in hell this’ll turn out good.” I was 100% incorrect. Delilah’s direction and sensitivity to my needs far surpassed my expectations. I had a great time shooting with her, it was, by far, the best birthday present I’ve ever given myself. The makeup artist who did my hair and makeup, Kahlia, did an amazing job as well. I had an incredibly severe illness a decade ago which caused me to lose at least 60% of my hair. It left me with a lot of patchy baldness on the top of my scalp. I had debated on using a wig and discussed it multiple times with Delilah but I ended up not doing so. I’m so glad I chose not to wear one because her skills with styling my hair blew me away. It was the first time I had seen myself with a full head of hair since I got ill. Even now it makes me tear up thinking about how I felt when I saw myself in the mirror. When I can, aka when inflation isn’t strangling us all, I want to do another shoot with her. It was money well spent, her skills are amazing as a photographer. The experience blew me away, it was fun and it helped me feel more comfortable in my own skin.

I had my session earlier this month - and it was amazing! I felt incredibly comfortable and beautiful. Delilah was great with providing direction to me during the shoot - and I am so happy with the results! Already considering another shoot 💕

We hired Stephanie of Perry & Pine to shoot our wedding and she was incredible! From the start (initial phone call) Steph was so approachable & friendly, and was really easy for me to talk to about we envisioned - all the way up to the big day. She brought Tristan as well as a second shooter who also was amazing! Stephanie & Tristan were great, both arrived super prepared for our wedding and knew the vision we had. Stephanie even met me at the venue prior for our walk through to decide where we wanted all our shots done. The day of she & Tristan helped coordinate our first look (and first look prank!) perfectly, and kept the bridal party entertained and attentive throughout all the photos we took. I got our sneak peaks back so quick, as well as our full gallery exceeding our expectations. We loved the whole experience, highly recommend Stephanie!

Stephanie was an absolute gem to work with! She made me feel incredibly comfortable during our boudoir shoot and ensured the whole process was smooth and easy! I had never done anything like this before and it was very empowering and fun! The photos are gorgeous and I am so very pleased with the whole experience! If you have the opportunity to work with her, I highly recommend her! UPDATE: After such a lovely experience doing boudoir with her, I ended up going to her for wedding photos too! My husband and I were meant to get married in 2020 and had to delay twice and she was so very accommodating and lovely. She did a phenomenal job shooting the wedding and we couldn't be happier with the results. She was so sweet and thoughtful, noticing the beautiful sunset and pulling us out to capture the incredible lighting. Amazing photographer with a warm and lovely vibe. Book her!! You won't regret it!

Super professional approach. I have had Ian as my photographer. I loved how he inquired about my likings on photo styles and he also carries a full wagon full of gadgets which did impressed me. The session itself is comfortable and smooth. I felt relaxed and enjoyed the time. Ian makes sure that he summons few dozen of great shots and asks for recommendations from his client to set the great feedback. His retouched pictures didn't require any remarks and I am very satisfied with my investment and great contact!

Finding a photographer when you're from out of town can be a nightmare. Through some sort of SEO magic, we happened upon Ian's portfolio and crossed our fingers that he was free when we were in town (spoiler alert...he was!). Ian was communicative, organized, very well prepared, and super nice. But most importantly, his photos were FANTASTIC. We feel very lucky to have found Ian. Thought this was our first shoot with him, it definitely won't be the last. Book him now before his schedule fills up!

Ian was great to work with. This is out second shoot now with Ian and it was really helpful having his guidance around all aspects of the shoot. Especially helpful when he gave pointers to our models on how to pose. Love all the photos and can't wait to share them. Thanks again Ian.

A really good experience all around. Ian Redd and his studio team at Vancouver Headshots Photography were very professional and organized but personable and friendly. I felt very comfortable and it was great to get their opinions on what looks I should go with and which poses worked best for what my agent had in mind. The photos ended up coming out really well too and there were a ton to choose from. (The studio cat was also very cute.) Definitely recommend.

Photographer Ian Redd & his Studio Team @ Vancouver Headshots Photography were wonderful to work with. My photo session was for business, not acting. Ian and Sarah paid attention to all the small details that make great headshots - from helping to select clothing, managing flyaway hair, and noticing and removing wee bits of lint, to ensuring that I was "feeling the feelings" that would match my smile to my profession as a counsellor and counsellor educator. Together, they attended to lighting and colour and made the session totally engaging and comfortable. I recommend them highly!

This was my first ever experience getting headshots done and had found Vancouver Headshots doing my own research and I couldn’t be happier and more confident that I made the right decision.
