Our 1&2 years old kids did kimono photo session here. I love how patient they are with the kids. They have different kimonos that you can choose and the studio is also nice. The photos were so beautiful, I am happy with the outcome. Highly recommended but I just hope that they also give us the soft/digital copies so that we can keep it in our phones too.

We went for it and called and booked a family appointment with White River Photo Studio.... and I have to give a huge shout-out to this business!! It was easy to call and schedule, they were extremely quick yet very professional, and the entire experience itself was so unique and entertaining! I didn't plan on having them do mine and my almost 2 year old daughter's hair and makeup because I wanted to be in and out before the kids lost it, but I ended up caving and I'm so glad I did! They had 3 different women helping get everyone dressed/ hair & makeup done and they did it efficiently so that my husband and I could switch off with the kids. They also saved my crazy 1 year old until the very end and had a small kid area with toys to keep them entertained while we got ready. At the end they go through all of the photos with you to pick the best ones, and one of the sweet employees stayed with my kiddos and gave them snacks/ played with them so that my husband and I could focus on the pictures.... Unheard of and I am so grateful to them for that! The photo taking itself was SO FUN. I truly didn't expect to laugh as much as I did but the nice 3 ladies and gentleman taking the pictures were being so silly and sweet to our kiddos in order to get the best photos from them ❤️ my two kids had such a blast with the entire event that they didn't fuss during any of the process, and that says a lot for having to dress in kimonos, do a 1 year old's hair 😱, AND take adorable family photos! The fact alone that they have 4 people on staff working hard yet being extremely caring and kind should say a lot about how professional this entire thing was. I cannot recommend White River enough!! Worth every single penny and then some ❤️📷👘 They also comp your parking at the end, and parking is right behind the building!

The staff were so friendly. My 1.5 year old daughter was being a little fussy during the photoshoot so the staffs were baby sitting and entertaining her while I had my hair and makeup done and they also managed to get a few pictures of her smiling. I highly recommend this place if you want to get a nice photoshoot with a Japanese kimono. It took about 2-3 hours with hair and makeup included and I had a lot of fun. Also it’s English friendly. :)
