I had an absolute amazing time, the photographer was so kind and understanding and even though I was so nervous he made me feel so relaxed, the hospitality is amazing and I was even offered tea and coffee. His girlfriend was there as well for support and his adorable kitties which co-modelled with me in some shots and the video. She and the photographer are beautiful on the inside and out. It was my first boudoir shoot and I was so comfortable and excited while shooting. I definitely came away from it confident and feeling so sexy and powerful. Truly amazing work. Kathryn is so awesome to work with, and her ability to compose the photos is amazing. In this case her "model" was a black lab who runs as fast as lightening and leaps through the air. Not the easiest photo subject in the world, but Kathryn nailed it! I am seriously blown away by the photos she took - and capturing the beauty of our dog doing what she loves to do will forever stay with me. The one piece of advice I will offer Kathryn? Charge more cause you are worth it!!!

Siobhan was great! She knew how to handle our 1 week old and the photos came out great. She is very lovely and easy to communicate with. We did our shoot like 3 weeks before Christmas and she let us pick a few that we could have so could give them as gifts. the rest of the photos were sent to us after but wasn't that much later. So she is very efficient!!!

Absolutely loved our newborn photo shoot with Siobhan, our baby boy was 13 days old and I was a nervous first time mum leaving the house to go! Siobhan instantly put us at ease, the professionally set up room was warm, inviting and relaxed. Siobhan was happy to include special items ie family blanket and had a vast selection of her own props to use. She was incredibly gentle, patient and calm when interacting with us and our little baby. The resulting photos are AMAZING, thank you Siobhan! Just been trying to run towards fear this year & the thought of Tania's empowerment photoshoots had my anxiety triggered. Never been on a beach - EVER - without shorts on over my togs, but somehow I was walking around in a thong at the beach 😅 The anxiety leading up to the shoot was intense. Funny thing is as soon as we were out there doing it I felt so calm, free & appreciative of Tania's amazing direction, skill & ability to make me feel so relaxed with a situation I deemed so confronting.. Like many, I've been fighting with my inner critic on things surrounding my appearance since I can remember. This shoot reminded me that I am beautiful with all of my flaws & it's time to dig deep and quieten that inner critic because it's been talking too much s#*t for too long. A couple of weeks ago I took myself out of my comfort zone! I went off to Kariotahi beach and had a body beauty empowerment photoshoot with Tania Te Ata Photography. What an amazing experience it was. Tania made me feel comfortable from the very 1st email right through to the photo viewing. I have been trying to live a life where I am trying to be happy in my own skin in an attempt to raise our babies in a world where it is ok to be positive about your own body iregradless of your size and shape. I'm trying to not give a flying fark about what peoples opinions are of me. The emotional and mental scaring of high school bullies has remained for all these years and returning "home" last year is making me face the feelings and move past them. I am so very pleased with how these turned out and can't really believe that chick in the photos is me! If you are thinking about doing something like this then DOOOOO ITTTT! So freeing and empowering.
