My husband and I recently got married, and had the absolute privilege of having Patina Photo shoot our wedding. From the planning process right through to the big day, they made us feel so comfortable and confident that we had picked the right photographers! We recently received our photos back and they absolutely blew our minds (even made us both tear up a little if I'm honest.) They are truly special photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you so so much, we are beyond ecstatic.

Besides our venue, the photographer was next on our list. We chose Patina because not only were they extremely professional and had it all together, but Michelle and Hemi also made us laugh and feel comfortable. Michelle even showed up at Boomrock for a 9am rehearsal, even though she has done many Boomrock ceremonies. On our wedding day, emotions obviously were high. I was so nervous and literally shaking the entire morning. However, when Michelle came in, she was not only a photographer, but she was so organized. She knew exactly what to do and had timings down like a champ. Michelle told me how much time we had and if I needed a breather, I could do that. I stopped shaking. We had Michelle and Chantelle both taking photos at our wedding. The made an awesome team and made us laugh and enjoy taking photos. They had creative ideas, were cautious of not taking too long with photos and enjoying the wedding themselves, which made us and our guest comfortable and happy. We haven’t received all our photos yet because our wedding was only 3 weeks ago, but within a week we got our sneak peak and they are to die for! We’ve been showing them to anyone who will look. Highly recommend Patina, there will be nothing but calm, trust and fun.

We are so full of praise for Michelle and Hemi's work. Heaps of people asked us "So how do you know the photographer?" or "Where did you and Michelle meet?" or "So cool that your friends are so talented ... especially the photographer!" Those comments speak volumes to her professionalism and her zesty personality. Her kind, hilarious, passionate presence wasn't just helpful, it really added so much joy to our day. Everyone felt so comfortable in front of the camera! The quality of the end product was even better than we'd hoped for. Our wedding pics look like they've come from a stunning magazine, featuring all our favourite people. Jane is brilliant!! Shanaya was about 8.5 months old when we went for our family photoshoot. I have to say my little girl isn't the most friendly baby around and takes time to open up and smile. It didn't take long to Jane to get Shanaya smiling and posing for the camera. It was such a relaxed and comfortable experience. We didn't feel like we being rushed in anyway.. Jane even got a tub with warm water so we could do some nice bath time photos for Shanaya. She obviously enjoyed it and so did we. Its a keepsake and I thank Jane from the bottom of my heart from making this such a memorable experience. the final outcome (photos) were just brilliant. Jane managed to capture some wonderful moments between dad and her which I completely love looking at. Also, some of the solos of Shanaya are just so so amazing. Thanks Jane.. .we'll sure be back if baby number 2 ever happens ;)

We have had family photos with our 2 preschool daughters taken by Jane twice now, and both sets are amazing! Jane is great with kids, and was able to produce incredible pictures, even when the kids were not at all interested in being photographed! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

I had a great time with Jolly for my photograph session. Jolly made me feel quite pampered while doing my hair and make-up. Looking at my photo I couldn't believe its me. Jolly with her immense talent and creativity made us have some incredible photos for our lifetime.

We are so happy with our photos from Joy Studio. Jolly was brilliant and so lovely to deal with. Jolly did my hair and make-up, and I was so pleased with how great it looked. There was even a platter of food to enjoy during our shoot. Jolly has lots of lovely backdrops which suited our colour scheme beautifully. I was a bit nervous about posing, but Jolly was clear with her direction and was also very flexible around my 2 year old doing his own thing! We are so happy with the final result and will treasure the photos for years to come.

Jolly's talented eye combined with her outstanding technical skills made my photoshoot just so incredibly beautiful, I think my heart even skipped a beat when I saw the finished work. She runs her studio with love, kindness and lot's of patience when composing the different looks. I'm so happy with my experience and fully recommend her services. ❤

I first became aware of Elizabeth’s work when she did amazing pictures of our school’s Showcase, Prizegiving and Colour Run so I had no hesitation in asking Elizabeth to take our family portrait. Elizabeth suggested a location which showcased the autumn colours and provided a perfect background. Elizabeth said we were to have fun and we did and captured some lovely family memories. Turn around was quick and photo delivered within the week.

If you are want to capture magical moments with your Newborn then AVOID this company. After ‘winning’ a Facebook competition that’s where the excitement ended. I had arranged the photoshoot to be done when my mum and younger sister were over from England and meeting my son for the first time. I had Informed Laura Ridley Photography of this and filled out/answered many repetitive questions regarding expectations from the shoot. Finally the day arrived and the answers to the questions must have been put in the bin as nothing was as I had answered. I chose to have the shoot outside and quickly got the impression that the photographer wasn’t happy with my choice. We drove 30 minutes to get to their outside location and after 5 minutes and very basic photos with not even moving us to change the background we were informed she was done! I went on to raise some concerns from the day but no other staff member seemed bother- must just be the normal feedback they receive. I was hoping they could have been a long-standing photographer for all my family occasions but never again!

Our newborn photo session with Laura was the perfect first bonding experience as a new family. She was both professional and amazing to watch. Our newborn was just so at ease the entire time. The photos were so beautiful and we’re excited to share it to our families and friends.
