When it comes to creating a vibe, a feeling, a mood for your wedding day, you really look to your photographer(s) to capture everlasting moments and memories that aren't forced or disingenuous. Those moments that bring you right back, in an instant. We were beyond lucky to have connected with Julia early in our planning process and immediately knew she was the one for us! She was upfront with her style, how she would help throughout our day and even made suggestions to improve our vision. Both my husband and I prefer not to be the main focus in photos (even for our wedding day!) and we really looked to her for impactful images and guidance to make this happen, whilst capturing the subtle moments we may not have even noticed. I really can't commend her and Lance enough (you must get a 2nd photographer!!) for sticking with us on a really hot day, quickly working through group photos so they were as painless as possible and bringing us to locations that may have been a trek, but have come out to be absolutely stellar and worth the work to capture! I had a great morning in Cambridge with Helenjoy. I was a tad nervy about it all. I'm not comfortable in front of a camera and had no idea about posing. I don't generally wear make up although I'm fussy about my hair. Both were fantastic. Helenjoy was patient and very helpful with what she wanted and was generous enough to let me try something I wanted too. The proofs were fabulous ... the final prints were stunning. All in all, I can highly recommend a session with Helenjoy Photography - just do it!
