Recently I had the opportunity to follow a one-on-one training with Danique. She already welcomed me with a cup of coffee and a nice coffee roll and we first had a chat. Then she started with the theory part in which she explains various things about flash, the light, the lighting techniques that are available, how you control a model and how you can still make varied photos with small details. Super educational! Then the model for that day came and I was allowed to try it. Both with setting the exposure and controlling the model. We were completely absorbed in it and before we knew it an hour had passed. Danique is a very spontaneous person and can explain and guide well. Had a strong impression that the advised poses were some kind of assembly line standard procedures for her. Missed empathy, passion, creativity plus an eye for detail with the photographer. In the end, only a few photos succeeded, and that could certainly have been better. We were disappointed and found this very unfortunate.
Last Saturday my son had a photoshoot with the dog. I have experienced this as very nice and positive. Despite the fact that the dog often did not want to listen, the animal was treated with respect and my son received the right instructions. The photographer knew exactly what she was talking about. The photos came a few days later and met my needs perfectly. Even my requests (which I made while watching the session) were all included. Great, nothing to complain about!!!
