We were lucky to find Nataliya available as we decided only a few days before for our lockdown wedding that we decided on a professional photographer and we’re glad we did. Our wedding was the elopement kind, everything last minute, very intimate, in the middle of another covid summer. Marnix was surprisingly responsive and accepted to help also in a short notice. He cared about us like he was a long old friend. When he figured out I didn’t have help to get dressed and do hair and makeup, he jumped in with different recommendations. Marnix and Anouk (makeup artist and hairdresser) worked really complementary with each other. They were the perfect team during the wedding day. On the wedding day, before the ceremony, Marnix was there to capture our preparation. Funny, kind and super creative, he allowed us to feel the moments as they were, without poses or directions. Our ceremony was a Greek Orthodox, in an Orthodox Church. He came prepared, he had studied the ceremony style beforehand and knew exactly where to stand and how to be unnoticeable. And even though the whole event was in Greek, he could totally follow the biggest moment and capture them. After the ceremony, we had a nice photoshoot session before the reception. So energetic, funny and cozy he was. Even though he had visited the shooting area the previous day at the same time of the event to check the light, he definitely allowed himself to feel the moments and we witnessed him in a creative fever. I've been following Studio Harmony on IG for a long time and have always said that as soon as I'm pregnant again I want this experience documented by her. And this was more than worth the wait! 😍 We were warmly welcomed and put at ease. We are anything but photogenic but Iris patiently guided us through it. Iris is so patient and immediately puts you at ease. I did my maternity & newborn shoot with her. Both planned last minute (hormones). Despite that, she was able to get me a spot. When I got there I saw so many options and I didn't know how to pose for the pictures because I felt like a whale. She helped me pick out ideas for the shoots and helped me pose. Without her I would be standing there like a statue. In the end it turned out to be a really fun shoot. At my daughter's newborn shoot she had red roses without me knowing anything about it which came out beautifully in the photos. She was even more handy with my newborn daughter than I was 😄. Not to mention her patience in choosing the photos. I could go on and on about my nice experience with studio harmony but then this would be too much to read.
