We've done the mini Christmas Shoot with Heloisa ever since our little one was born. It's a great way to get a few professional Christmassy photos each year and it's a great value! Cannot recommend more highly! Matilda was absolutely fantastic with our newborn daughter (who was quite frankly, not the easiest client!). She was incredibly patient and calm despite our daughter crying and not settling for the photos but she managed to calm her and spent ages doing so (rocking her round the room etc) in order to get the most gorgeous photos of our baby. She deserves a thousand stars and we are so so pleased with the quality of the photos and the excellent service. We will definitely be back!

In February 2020 we had the pleasure of a new born shoot with Matilda. From the first email Matilda was informative, calm and kind. The photo shoot was exactly the same; so calm and relaxed, even with an 8day old baby! Matilda was so gentle, careful and professional, able to calm our baby, take the most perfect photos and keep us relaxed with a cuppa and some yummy biscuits. It was a pleasure to be in Matilda’s studio and to watch her at work. Every single photo is perfectly shot and take pride of place in our house. I couldn’t recommend Matilda more to new parents who want to capture those precious first days/weeks with their new baby!

From the first time I contacted Matilda to book a newborn shoot she was so accommodating and friendly I knew we was choosing the right person to take some pictures of our newborn daughter. We then met Matilda and I have never felt so welcome than I did when we got to Matilda’s studio. She is the most loveliest person you’ll ever meet, she goes above and beyond to deliver absolutely AMAZING photos of your children. We recently used JCD photography for our wedding. John provided a great service, meeting us to discuss our requirements/wishes beforehand, on the day itself, and afterwards. John captured our day perfectly, getting some amazing natural pictures of the ceremony, without us even really being aware he was there. John later made sure we got the most from the venue, using many different locations to get fantastic shots. The after service has been brilliant, we received the link to our gallery the same evening, and a short while later received some photoshopped versions of a number of the images & are thrilled with the results. We would highly recommend using JCD photography for any event.

I have know John for about 2 years and after seeing his previous photos of other projects was more than happy to have him take the photos of Jules and my wedding. From the outset John provided an excellent service. He could not have done any better on the day getting some amazing photos without being staged and time consuming, which was a blessing as it was the hottest day of the year. After Johnny did such a fantastic job for our wedding, he was the obvious choice when my wife and I wanted to get some family photos done. We had a photoshoot with our not so little puppies, Geraint was so patient making sure the dogs were settled before he began and throughout patiently waiting for the perfect shot! Even caching Jessie sleeping! Collected our photos today and I am lost for words at the quality of his work. It is second to none! He even managed to get my partner to smile on collection! Absolutely pleased with everything they did. We were certainly quite surprised and impressed by how good our photos came out! And they made it a fun and very comfortable experience. Can't believe how nervous i was until i met Mandy, Debbie and John. They made me feel at ease, comfortable and confident. My experience was amazing and i loved every second of it. I appreciated everything they did and couldn't believe how nice the sets really were and their minds of thinking to make it beautifull and sexy at the same time was just unbelievable. After looking at hundreds of wedding photographers Lisa was our clear first choice and so we were delighted when she was available for our chosen date. Lisa was a pleasure to work with and beautifully captured our special day, presented to us in a gorgeous leather bound album. Thoroughly recommended!

I have been using Lisa as our 'go to' photographer since our wedding in 2007; where she took some of my most treasured photographs. My husband hates being photographed and no one else has managed to take a good photo of him!! Since then I have used her for various pictures, including ones of my son when he was a tiny 2 week old, our puppy a few weeks after we brought her home - she coupled this with taking some of both the dog and my son (some of the cutest pictures ever), then some more when they were both a bit bigger, when I was pregnant with my daughter and finally some gorgeous pictures of her when she was 4 weeks old. The only thing I haven't braved to do yet is boudoir shots...she does keep trying to convince me, we'll see! Soon I will be asking her once again to take some photos of my family, so I can have even more treasured memories. I didn't have to use her for all these times, but I did as she captures moments no one else can. I have had friends say that they wish they had paid the extra and used her as their photographer for their wedding - a day when only perfection will do, as most people will only be doing it once! I have in fact used a 'studio based' photographer when my son was a few months old, I had a voucher so thought may as well use it. Yes the photos came out quite good (mostly because he is such a cutie) but there was nothing special about them, they were generic. Every time Lisa has taken photos for me, they have been that little bit different, something not everyone will have hanging in their living rooms. If you have looked at Lisa's work you will understand why I have all these positives to say about her! Don't regret using someone else and forever look back at your pictures thinking "If only I had used Lisa".

Where do I start......We first met up with Lisa at her beautiful home in rural Northamptonshire, she made us feel so welcome and with a glass of bubbly we spoke about our needs at length and she listened intently while dropping in valid and helpful pointers on how things should go. We then had a browse through some of her portfolio and the photographs were fantastic, so we went away and both agreed this was the best photographer we had seen and, we had seen quite a few. So we called and booked Lisa for our wedding, she was with us from early morning to late evening, and apart from the setting of group photographs we wouldn't have known she was there! I have seen many of our friends wedding albums, but the quality of our photos are so far superior and at no extra cost, this is one photographer not to be missed!
