I just did my 3rd session with Darci a few weeks ago. I was nervous to do this session as I had gained some weight since my last session. The session was amazing as always. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in as I always do with Darci. I was also nervous to see my pictures. Once I saw them I was in love. Darci was able to capture my beauty just as she did in the previous sessions. Every woman needs to treat herself to a boudoir session with Darci and let her empower you and show you what other people see that we sometimes do not see in ourselves.

After doing a boudoir session with Darci 6 years ago, I have been debating for a few years about doing another shoot and have always come up with excuses not to do it. Well, this year I dove in and decided to just go for it and see what happens. I was nervous before the shoot because I hadn’t lost enough weight, didn’t know if my outfits would look good and all of the other typical criticisms a lot of us women tell ourselves. Darci was amazing at making me comfortable, Chelsea did amazing at making me look fabulous with hair and make up and both were great at pointing out positives during the preparation for the shoot. Darci has an amazing eye for what looks good for all body types and made me feel amazing throughout the shoot. During the viewing and ordering session, Darci was able to give many options that fit into my budget and what would work in my life. I can not recommend Darci enough with how comfortable she made me feel throughout this whole process. I can’t wait to do another shoot!

I thought about doing boudoir the first time in 2012. I never ended up doing it. I had all sorts of excuses for why not. I wanted to wait until I lost weight, I wanted to wait until my hair was different and I liked it better, I wanted to wait until my face was clear the excuses went on and on. Not being able to muster up the courage to do it made me feel even worse about myself. Besides in my mind at 5’6” and 195 pounds nobody wanted to see that! Flash forward to last year I booked a session with Darci. I was terrified!! I was older my hair is frizzy her and I was 30 pounds heavier than when I first thought about doing this. I argued with myself about booking I went through the same arguments! If I could just lose 30 pounds and be back where I was when I first thought about doing this how much more would I like the pictures. I am so glad I didn’t listen to the negative thoughts in my head this time. I’m glad I had Darci Amundson take take my pictures. I have no clue how to pose of find my light or all these things people know to make their photos look better. Darci told be how to turn and move to get the best pictures possible. I had my husband come with me to the photo choosing session because I know me I hate being in pictures I hate the way I look in pictures and I knew I wouldn’t see anything good in the pictures that were taken. When I got the final prints back from Darci I wanted to cry. She has an amazing way of seeing the beauty inside you and bringing that out in your photos. I never thought I could look that good!! If you are waiting because you’re trying to lose weight or one of the million other excuses we give ourselves, don’t wait!!!! Let Darci show you how amazing you are now just as you are!

Recently I had my maternity🤰🏻pictures done by Z 😌 It’s been a while since i have done any professional pictures! I don’t take pictures of myself anymore because I’ve lost my confidence, but I went in there with the mindset of not having that get to me, because it’s for my first & only pregnancy I’ll ever have, & it’s something beautiful, that I knew I had to let any self doubt out the door. With that being said, I had a great time with Z & she made me feel completely comfortable & beautiful 🤩 My pictures turned out phenomenal! & I would highly recommend her to anyone! I highly recommend Fine Art Boudoir & Maternity! Z is so talented and made me feel so comfortable. I consider myself pretty awkward and have never done anything like boudoir before, but I didn’t feel uncomfortable or awkward at all and my photos came out great! The studio was really easy to find. There is plenty of street parking in the area. My session was on a Saturday so the meters were free.

If you are on the fence about doing a boudoir photo shoot, you should go to Z! I’m a very reserved introvert, and she helped me feel comfortable and gave great instructions for poses that turned out amazing. As a former photographer, I m very uncomfortable being in front of the camera but let me tell you this, Ellie creates magic!!!! There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how amazing each and every photo that Ellie and Dillon snaps! Easily the best experience with a photographer to date! I scheduled a photoshoot with Ellie to celebrate some milestones in my life and I am very glad I did. Scheduling was easy, and she explained the whole process in detail. I did a branding shoot with Mackenzie and it was incredible! I had pictures from 5 years ago on my website and wanted fresh photos. I work with schools and teachers and was nervous about being able to pull off a branding shoot in a studio and not inside a school. But after the initial phone call with Mackenzie to discuss props and set up, I was sold! She gave me great prop and clothing choices, was prompt with her communication, and was easy to work with. The day of the shoot was so much fun, professional, and timely. I picked my favorite images before leaving the studio and had the edited images in my inbox before going to bed that night. Amazing! 10/10 recommend!
