Having a boudoir photo session with Richard was such a delight and brought the excitement back into planning for me after a year of pandemic wedding planning had worn me down. Richard was a great communicator and very organized and reliable. We shot the images in Richard's downtown Raleigh studio which was so professional, convenient, and provided gorgeous natural light for the images. I was slightly nervous going into the process, not knowing what to expect, but I had so much fun and Richard was so encouraging, sweet, and super professional, making the shoot loads of fun and put me at ease to pose naturally to get some great photos. I absolutely love how the images turned out and can't wait to gift them to my fiance during our honeymoon. I can't recommend Richard enough for unique and high-quality boudoir photography.

Matt is a 10 star photographer. He is professional, friendly and has made me completely comfortable no matter the type of shoot we were doing. We have worked together multiple times but he still checked in on me during the shoot to make sure everything was still good. He invites the models input on poses, outfits, location, etc, and is good at getting creative with his work. I always enjoy shooting with him and he is going to go far with his talent.

Did my very first professional shoot with Matt & it went better than expected. We shot broad daylight at Dorothea Dix Park, he gave me lots of options on location and even offered me to feel free to pick out any areas at the park I wanted to shoot. Considering it was very public , Matt still made sure I was safe at each scene and relocating in between scenes. I felt so comfortable and in my element because Matt knew what he was doing and the guidance throughout the entire session was 🤌🏽 *chefs kiss*. He kept great communication about the editing process and distribution of the final edits were perfect. Definitely will be re-booking to do another risky shoot, I had too much fun.

I had my first EVERY 'sexy shoot' with this photographer and I'll admit, as a plus size woman I was nervous and hesitant, but wanted to do something special for my husband and step out of my comfort zone. I found Matt and booked a session not knowing what to expect and kind of nervous, but loved the work I did see, so I thought take a chance. He was VERY professional, helped me feel confident, and never once pressured me into poses I wasn't comfortable with. Katelyn is incredible. Her studio is gorgeous, with plenty of options. She has a mastery of utilizing light and shadows, perfect for these types of pictures. Her pictures are truly art. But most importantly, she is one of the most accepting people I’ve ever met. I am an awkward human. This wasn’t just a little out of my comfort zone; it was on a different planet. But I never once felt judged for my lack of posing abilities, my anxiety about the situation, my outfits, or most importantly, my body. We started the session with two important conversations. The first was what I was comfortable with and what she was comfortable with. It knocked my anxiety down a point knowing both of us knew what the other needed. The next conversation was what my personality was like in this context. I knew my personality was not as potent as others; but I also wasn’t there for family reunion matching jeans and white shirts vibes. I thought I was word vomiting trying to explain what I wanted, but she literally nailed it. It was like she understood what I wanted more than I did. I made one off handed comment that I’m obsessed with coffee. She grabbed a coffee cup and had me take some pictures in the aesthetically pleasing kitchen, pretending I was cool enough to be drinking coffee in my underwear lmao. They were some of my favorite pictures to take because they were 100% me. Sometimes you meet someone and think, yep. They’re in the exact right profession. That’s Katelyn. She’s making the world a better place and I’m here for it. If you’re thinking about doing it, just do it. I am so, so glad I did.

This was my first time doing any sort of photo shoot and after meeting Katelyn I was immediately so at ease. She made the process easy and fun and made sure that I felt safe and heard the entire time. I would recommend her to anyone at all who wants to cherish themself. My experience with Katelyn was a dream come true from start to finish! I had been following her work for close to a year and waited until I was able to make a photo shoot a reality. It was worth every penny. She is a true professional with a gift that can't be taught. From the start, she was extremely communicative and clear about what to expect. She provided lingerie websites for all body sizes and budgets in advance, and gave me the option to utilize her size-inclusive lingerie closet if I didn't want to purchase my own. She set clear expectations on what to do and what not to do pre-shoot. Once I arrived at the studio, she had the patience of a saint and helped me try on a handful of looks until we found the perfect pieces. I gained about 15-20 pounds between when I booked and when my shoot took place, and needed an extra set of eyes to tell me what looked good. She was honest about which looks she loved and which looks she could live without. I never felt like we "settled" - she wanted it to be perfect. During the shoot, she made me feel safe and comfortable and gave me options for different poses that worked with my (very unathletic) body and "spice level". I can promise you that anyone of any shape/size/mobility would be comfortable working with Katelyn! In addition to being your #1 hype girl, she learns which angles you love about your body and which angles you're still working on loving. She uses that to determine the perfect poses for you. She checked in several times throughout the day to make sure she was getting the exact shots I wanted. At the end of the shoot we talked through a timeline and digital vs print options. Katelyn's photos are absolutely STUNNING and you'll want to buy them all! After a day of working together, we were already brainstorming on new poses for another shoot. This is the best investment I've made in myself in a long time, and I can't recommend her enough. She's a gem of a human and will bend over backwards (LITERALLY) to make you look and feel amazing. Book with Katelyn!!

I needed to update my headshot for a meeting brochure and I needed it done quickly to meet a publishing deadline. Charlie was able to work me in and the photos look great!

Charlie recently came to my home to take professional photos of our house. He was such an easy person to work with that the whole experience was wonderful. Charlie listens to you about what you’d like to highlight and what you’d like to play down. He turns his work around quickly and the final results are amazing. I can whole heartedly recommend Charlie as a professional photographer!

Charlie did candid photos at an event hosted by me and my husband. He was congenial, prompt to arrive, and very eager to make sure that he captured everything that we wanted. Diane took our 3-month baby photos and she is incredible! She knows how to talk to babies and get them to smile in order to capture the perfect moment. We could not be happier with her service! It has been 11 days since my wedding, and I already have my proofs--unheard of and awesome. Diane is amazing in every way. I have loved working with her on my bridal portrait and even more loved working with her and her assistant, Allison, the day of my wedding. Diane could easily get my family to be quiet and be where they needed to be for family photos after the ceremony (no small feat). She got fabulous shots of us and our guests throughout the day. She is a joy to work with. I found her based on a recommendation and I'm so glad I did. No other photographers I reached out to initially responded as quickly or thoroughly as Diane, and she remained extremely responsive (and patient!) throughout the process. Diane is a true professional photographer. Her work speaks for itself. Diane photographed our daughter's wedding and was able to sensitively handle my 85 year old father in a wheelchair, as well as our wild and crazy twenty-something sons. She was very unobtrusive in taking her photographs, but, oh, did she ever capture the tone of that joyful evening. Two years later, our oldest son passed away unexpectedly. When we walked into the church hall for his visitation, Diane had strategically placed portraits of him around the room without our knowing it. There have been other occasions when I've asked for photography help. Diane immediately responds to my pleas.
