Mia was nothing short of AMAZING!!! I hired her to take pictures when I proposed to my girlfriend in San Diego. I'm from Seattle and knew nothing about the area or what I should do for the surprise. Mia helped me everything from location, clothing and even a second location once our first spot got rained out. Her pictures that she was able to capture were STUNNING. Simply put, there aren’t enough words in this lifetime that could describe my experience with Julia Badei Studios…she is by far, one of the most talented individuals I have ever crossed paths with. I had been gifted a boudoir session on Valentine’s Day and if you know me, being in front of the lens isn’t my preferred place; however, Julia went above and beyond to make me feel, not only comfortable, but she was able to portray and translate who I was through her photography. Prior to my session, we met to get a feel for who I was: my aesthetic, style, energy, etc., along with any details of what I would need for the shoot and a timeline of the day. I had requested that my hubby join me for part of the session. She obliged, with us being the first couple to step foot in a boudoir setting. The poses, angels, aesthetic…EVERYTHING was perfect! I never knew I could look and feel like this person Julia captured that day. I felt beautiful, sexy, confident and powerful. Not to mention our partner photos…the emotion that was conveyed in these shots was even more magical. Like how is it possible to display love, romance and passion into a photo?! I have no idea, but Julia does it! She gets it…every single time! I mean, I cried the entire reveal because it was just so incredible! She is a true artist. I’d highly recommend anyone who wants to take amazing pictures with incredible customer service. Janis is the sweetest person who is so on top of everything! She gathered all the information before the shoot (inspiration, theme, must-have etc), checked in with me in the morning on the day of, and was so patient with 3 month old baby during the shoot. I was looking for someone to capture my baby’s 100th day celebration and the photos turned out beautiful!

I have had the pleasure of working with Jackie Batch twice now, once for a boudoir shoot and recently during my surprise engagement proposal. For the first shoot, Jackie made me feel completely at ease and directed me throughout. The flow was undeniable and I felt comfortable and confident throughout the day. She knows exactly what positions and angles are going to be flattering and there was not a picture I did not like when we were done. SO HAPPY. For the proposal, Jackie coordinated with my now Fiance to surprise me and she perfectly captured the moment, I could not be more thankful. Jackie was such a joy to shoot with. She made me feel very comfortable and had all of the details, big and small, perfectly fine-tuned to truly create an experience, not just a photo shoot. He found her through Instagram (@jackie_batch) and liked her style of photography the most. From the moment he reached out her, she was a dream to work with, very responsive, professional. She even helped scout and finalize the proposal location because we were coming from out of town. Jackie perfectly captured the special moment at Sunset Cliffs. After the proposal, we had an hour long photoshoot in the area. She provided some direction for poses but it didn't feel staged. She provided a lot of variety in the type of pictures she took. Afterwards, she sent us a sneak peak of the pictures the same night and we got all of our pictures within a week. I couldn't have wished for better pictures and I wouldn't have changed anything in my experience. Thank you so much Jackie for being apart of our special day!

I hired Chris to capture our wedding weekend in December in Indio and while we've only seen sneak peeks so far, they are phenomenally gorgeous. Chris and her second shooter Christine were a delight to have around all day, completely dedicated to getting wherever they needed to be to get the best shots, and very clear in giving direction to family members and wedding party for group shots. I can't wait to see the rest of our photos!

Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with; her remarkable eye and understanding of what you desire from the photos she takes are unparalleled! Not only is Chris apt in her knowledge of photography, but she allows the subject/s to have a co-directional role in deciding how the photos should be styled and shot while on location. I recommend this wonderful human being for any photo needs that should arise!

Photos are one of my love languages, and it can be hard to find a great fit. I own and run a small daycare and hired Chris for a jumbled, personalized event. An hour of family photos and head shots for my daycare families, and then another hour of the same for my friends. We held this event in the fall of 2020, so it was a socially distanced event, with everyone wearing masks except for when it was their turn in front of the camera. So - daycare... Lots of kids, right? Infants and toddlers to be exact - they are so hard to photograph. My personal phone is FULL to the brim with photos of these kids, trying to catch a smile or a good expression. I don't know how many photos Chris took, but she shared so many with us that were excellent - more than excellent! Stellar!! I've hired other photographers in San Diego for family photos and the like before, and they got the job done. But Chris will be my go-to photographer from here on out. I can't say how excellent her skills and final product are! She got adorable group shots with three toddlers! Impossible, I tell you, but she did it. Chris has a great eye for photography plus the people skills to really get everyone into their perfect groove to capture the moment.

A boudoir shoot has been on my bucket list for a long time. Kim was wonderful and made the whole experience amazing. I was nervous going into it but she made the whole thing fun and eased my nerves. If a boudoir shoot is on your list or you've been contemplating one, do it! Just make sure you have Kim do your shoot! I promise, it'll be an experience you'll never forget! From keeping in contact before the shoot to the reveal, everything has been great. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs any sort of photography services.

I cannot recommend Laura enough! I was lucky enough to have her do my maternity photo shoot at her studio in October and she was not only a complete pleasure to work with, she made me feel and look like a complete pregnancy goddess! I felt so comfortable the entire shoot and had a TON of fun. The photos turned out SO beautiful and I will cherish the memories forever. My husband came along even though he was not interested in being in many photos, but he ended up having a lot of fun and feeling comfortable enough to jump in for quite a few photos - and they even ended up being some of my favorites! If you're on the fence, DO IT! It was 100% worth the money and something you cannot recreate (especially when it comes to maternity photos during such a short phase of life). Laura and her husband were amazing with our boys! The sets she chose were exactly what I asked for, they were so sweet and patient with our boys, and our boys had the best time! They were actually sad to leave. On top of that our photos came back absolutely beautiful and were everything I envisioned!

Brooke is AMAZING at what she does. She shot our March wedding and we had the full album back in 10 (!!) days. Also to note we had a massive wedding party (10 on each side) which she handled with no problem. We immediately clicked when we did a discovery phone call. I love her style of photography which matched with what we were looking for - fun, candid, not posed pictures. She is a magician with lighting and the photos turn out so beautifully. She takes photo security seriously and ensures backups and backups to the backups which is so important for your wedding day. She gave me the sweetest advice as we were walking to the first look to remember 10 things in as many moments as possible to slow the day down and ensure solid memories of your special day. She’s an authentic human, cares about you and your day, and is so talented. Book her!

Working with Brooke was phenomenal. I hired her to do shots for my brand content, and she nailed it! I was unsure of locations suited for my needs, and she was helpful in providing suggestions. I also feel awkward in front of a camera and I'm not always confident what to do with my hands, but Brooke gave easy direction and my photos look natural and effortless. Her edits matched my brand look so I don't have to do any additional work when posting my pictures. I will absolutely hire again for all my content needs and highly recommend her work!

I purchased a flash mini boudoir photoshoot on a whim. I was so pleased!! I’ve worked with quite a few photographers before and let me tell you this experience surpasses those entirely. Rocky gives great direction, encouragement, and makes you feel super comfortable. The photos really reflect her artistry. She’s also a great hype woman and as a result made me feel so confident.
