Damon was a joy to work with! He helped us find the ideal time for our photo shoot with our two children. We rescheduled once due to weather, and he was extremely flexible in helping us find another time that worked for our family. The photos are amazing! We are very excited to use them for our Christmas card this year and to share with family and friends. It can be so hard to get a photo of both of our kids actually smiling and happy, and Damon did a great job making sure that that happened for us!

I hired Damon to capture my surprise proposal. He was fantastic to work with throughout the process. From the initial call when evaluating a few photographers, Damon stood out for his excitement and his free advice for me to make the moment really special. He was collaborative in planning in a private, intimate setting and his work product was wonderful. WOW! Just WOW! Had to schedule a graduation photo shoot from Texas for my daughter in DC. Not only did Damon make every step so easy but after talking with him on the phone and getting to know him a bit I was even more excited to work with him. He is exceptional...Literally, no other way to describe him. His work style, sense of humor, creativity, patience, you name it are all incredible. The pics we received were outstanding too! Keep in mind that we had no easy task for him... juggling a blended family, a morning when bad weather threatened and a senior pup, he juggled it all effortlessly and made for one of the best and most fun photo sessions I have ever been a part of. I had initially chosen Damon based on the ratings on here and boy they did not let me down. My experience with Megan was amazing! She was very prompt at returning my questions and was my hype girl during the photoshoot. She made me feel extremely comfortable and the pictures turned out amazing! Her hair and makeup artist was on point! I had my photos shipped since I was only in Maryland for work and had returned home before my pictures were ready. She was very accommodating! I would totally recommend wild orchid :).

I wish I could give Wild Orchid Boudoir ten stars. From start to finish, this was an amazing experience. Megan was so attentive and sensitive, and wanted to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible. She also did an amazing job with the lighting and figuring out the best poses for my body-type. I could not have been more pleased with my experience, and I really owe it to Megan for being so amazing. I would love to book again!

Cassidy goes above and beyond to deliver amazing quality photographs and to support his clients. When the pandemic hit the week before our wedding, Cassidy was incredibly flexible and accommodating. We decided to do a small ceremony in a park by our house, and Cassidy was not just our photographer but our only guest...a big responsibility he did not take lightly. He showed up to the park on time (in a freaking pandemic), and cheered us on while we said our vows. His photos were amazing and captured the bittersweet moments of wedding in a pandemic. We are so grateful for his love, support, and awesome documentation of this totally bizarre event. It's also worth mentioning that Cassidy's photos from our wedding were so good, his shots were featured on Forbes.com, Washingtonian Weddings, and in JMore magazine. 100% will use him for our second wedding (which is a lot sooner than we expected, hahah).

This was the best session we had in years! Peter was very professional, communicated all the details, price and location. He was willing to accommodate a rainy day if we needed and was on time! Our family session was the easiest, fun and memorable for my children, my husband and me. Peter took us to one of the best locations around DC area and just followed us and directed when needed. I would definitely use his service again and recommend him without a doubt.

Peter is very pleasant and was very engaging with our kids while doing the photoshoot. He was on time and worked with us to get specific shots we requested. However, the quality of the photos was mediocre. The composition of most of the photos was poor - too far back and out of balance for many of the family shots, and in others Peter was standing while we were sitting, leading to bad angles. These shots should have been taken at our level. There were also lighting issues in at least half of the shots - shadows across faces. As a photographer myself, I have gotten many better shots of my kids taken with my Iphone. The process of downloading the photos from his website was not very straightforward and required us to put in our credit card number when we had already paid for the photos in the package we purchased. If I were grading Peter on his interaction with us and friendliness, I would give him 5 stars. To make it clear, I am grading on the quality of the product delivered which was disappointing.
